(pronounced “Energized”), a privately held, African-American owned digital entertainment company headquartered in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, announced today that their game Black College Football Experience (BCFx): The Doug Williams Edition for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, will release on September 29, 2009.

This eagerly anticipated console version of BCFx celebrates the excitement of the black college football experience. Affectionately named after Grambling great and Super Bowl MVP Doug Williams, the game features competitive football game play, real-time interactive halftime shows and head to head drumline competition. Along with an exciting gaming experience, BCFx includes a Legacy museum to educate and salute the incredible history of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and their great football legends. Nerjyzed Entertainment celebrates many firsts with this title. Nerjyzed Entertainment is the first African-American owned development studio to receive Gold Certification for the Xbox 360, BCFx: The Doug Williams Edition is the first video game combining sports and rhythm-based music games, and the first football title using the Unreal 3.0 engine.

Just in time for football season and early Christmas gift planning, BCFx gives the authenticity and energy that makes the real world of Black College Football so unique and unforgettable. Beginning September 29, 2009, BCFx: The Doug Williams Edition, published by Aspyr Media, will be available for purchase at GameStop, Wal-Mart, BestBuy, Fry’s Electronic, and Amazon.com.

Nerjyzed Entertainment recently joined BET on its renowned Black College Tour. As part of the BET Tour, BCFx: The Doug Williams Edition for Xbox 360 will join the excitement of BET’s Video Game Competition at various HBCU campuses across the country. Additionally, Nerjyzed Entertainment has embarked on a 12-week tour bringing the BCFx tour bus to HBCU campuses and classic football games allowing students and fans to experience the game. Furthering their involvement with HBCU’s, Nerjyzed Entertainment has signed on as the title sponsor of Battle of The Bands and Greek Show during the State Farm Bayou Classic Weekend of Friday, November 27.
