RAPPER TOO SHORT’S SUPERGROUP TOWN BIZNESS PREPS THEIR DEBUT ALBUM “CAN’T TAKE IT WITH YOU” IN STORES APRIL 2009

Veteran West Coast rap superstar Too Short introduces his new group Town Bizness. Too Short raises the bar with his new live-band. Oakland’s supergroup, Town Bizness features Too Short, Elijah Baker (Tony, Toni, Tone!) Silk E, Martin Luther, Kev Choice, and B. Collier. The album “Can’t Take It With You” will be released digitally via 19 & Franklin Records in April 2009 . This new and very unique project features guest appearances by Snoop Dogg. The single “Red Bull and Vodka” is receiving rave reviews. “The group is a combination of artists, musicians writers & producers united under the love of making good music,” states Short.  Also, “Can’t Take It With You” features the tracks “Maggot Brain,” “Many Questions,” and the titled track “Can’t Take It With You”. “It deals with people who are chasing a lot, advising them to not forget who they are and to remember that you can’t take it with you,”states Silk-E.

Too Short hit the music scene in the early 80’s with his unique style of rap, Too Short was instrumental in exposing the raw sounds of West Coast rap with songs that set the standard for Hip-Hop to the masses. Now twenty years later with seventeen albums under his belt, he’s a free agent continuing to stay relevant. “This was a long time coming. I am truly blessed to have a twenty-plus year career in the Hip-Hop game,” states Short.
