RAPPER LIL HAZE SET TO HEADLINE THE BLACK COLLEGE TOUR IN HIS HOMETOWN OF BIRMINGHAM, ALABAMA

Birmingham Records rapper Lil Haze is set to rip the stage during the kick-off of the 2008 Black College Football season. Lil Haze will be one of the premiere artists for the Black College Football Tour, sponsored by the Atlanta-based NDa’ Game Entertainment, starting August 31, 2008 in Birmingham, AL.

 

The 23 year-old rapper, who recently signed an independent record deal with Birmingham Records and also inked a major distribution agreement with Fontana/Universal for his debut album, Doin’ Da Most, is now prepared to put “Magic City” (Birmingham) on the map with his show stopping performance and new single,  ”Girls In Da Club.” Haze’s performance during the 11-city Black College Football Tour consists of four dates in his hometown of Birmingham (listed below) with added dates throughout the Southern regions“When we were in the beginning stages of setting up the Black College Football Tour, we wanted an artist who could deliver a hot performance. Therefore, we welcomed Lil Haze to be the headlining performer. He represents what we are trying to do with the tour,” states Ali Shabazz, Owner/CEO, NDa’ Game Entertainment.
Haze’s show during the tour will focus on his new CD, which is slated to be released in 2009. “Birmingham Entertainment has always been supportive of the Black College events. We are excited for the opportunity to showcase Lil Haze during the 2008 Black College Football season,” expressed Kevin Lipsey, Birmingham Entertainment.
Doin’ Da Most is a musical constellation of non-threatening, feel-good beats and rhymes that harken back to the early days of hip-hop when having fun was a primary focus of music. The club banger “Girls In Da Club” is heating up the airwaves and clubs throughout the Southeast, with radio spins in Birmingham, North Carolina, Texas, and Portland. Featured on Doin’ Da Most are the party anthems “Git to da Flo,” ”Snap Shawty,” ”Grants and Abes,” and “Whut It Iz” featuring ATLiens Ying Yang Twins.
