Freck Billionaire drops Street Album Narrated By Fabolous and DJ On Point

Posted by bigced on August 19, 2008

Admist all of the rumors / speculation regarding the details of his arrests, his group, solo, and label situations with the majors, Freck is back at it with his second Street Album / Mixtape release, since 2006’s “A Fistful Of Dollars” with DJ Clue. With Fabolous and DJ On Point supplying the back drop, this 18 song heater is long over due. This time around Freck gets an assist or two from fellow Street Family members Fabolous, Paul Cain, Red Cafe and introduces his first CBL recording artist Ricky Jewelz.

Adding A&R to his repertoire Freck goes in on bangers from mostly new comers including his in-house CBL production team consisting of Young Thrilla, Phenomenal Beats, and Ricky Jewelz. Business partner and long time manager Omar “Animal Steele” Barnes had this to say “This album is going to kill all the gimmicks, publicity stunts, stories, and shit talking. Can you rap or not? Everyone forgot about making good music.” Freck adds in “Being able to do this group album with the # machine in the game is a blessing. With my solo and label deal in the final stages of negotiations, 2009 is looking brighter than ever.”

The resulting competition will be chronicled in The Finalists: Season 2, a webisode series via LOUD.com and ultimately produce the winner of the Online Rap Battle.

“We are working to present all creative instruments for our community on LOUD.com to make them future multi-faceted stars within the music industry,” explains industry veteran Steve Rifkind, CEO of LOUD.com. “By providing an improved platform to our users, we hope to make the talent pool even better this time around, and find the next hot aspiring MC and producer we can absorb into the SRC Records / LOUD.com family.”
