It is personally gratifying to see individuals of this magnitude really want to make a difference in the lives of our youth”. Stated J.P. Taylor Chairman of Entertainers 4 Education Alliance.
E4EA enlists the participation of celebrities to help reach young people at their place of interest, serving as a meeting ground, the central resource where those within the entertainment community, can reach back and give of themselves to help make a difference in the lives of young people. The organization crosses genre, class and color and allows the unifying language of the arts to speak for it self.
John Starks explained his involvement by saying “ I’d like to say the reason I got involved with the I will graduate campaign and also became a board member of the E4EA organization is the incredible impact that this campaign will have on our youth. I’m extremely excited about being apart of this organization and making a difference in the lives of our youth of today and tomorrow.” Sway weighed in saying “I joined E4EA because I believe its time that we (entertainers) make education as appealing to the youth as we do rap, sports and the pursuit of money. Finally, Jim Jones stated, “Its only right that I give back to the community and E4EA is the perfect organization which offers such a great service where I can use my celebrity status to let our youth now to make smart choices and education is very important. Graduating from high school that’s balling!”
