Lord Gang Worldwide LLC Stays on Course With It’s Starting Five

In keeping with the vision set forth by Du “Doitall” Kelly (President and C.E.O. of Lord Gang Worldwide LLC), we are please to announce our latest executive appointments.  Effective immediately, Mike Hatch will assume the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Operations Officer.  DanjahOne will fill the Vice President of Sales and Marketing position.  Gary “GS” Smith takes over as both Vice President of Creative and Business Development, and the new Vice President of Lord Gang DJz.  Keeping their previously-appointed posts are DJ Doxx (President of Lord Gang DJ’z), and DJ Lord Jazz (President of Lord Gang DJz International).

Southern Fried Hip-Hop Hits Unwrapped By Hidden Beach

After nearly a three year hiatus, the Los Angeles-based Hidden Beach Recordings has refreshed its popular and critically acclaimed Unwrapped™ collection. “It’s been years since we offered an addition to the series and the feeling inside was we had to do something new with a unified theme. The idea came up that southern rap has exploded into pop culture, why not offer Unwrapped™ recordings of these monster hits. At the same time but on the opposite coast, the Atlanta-based ColliPark team had begun bringing jazz renditions of their catalog to life under the working name ‘Crunk Jazz Café’.  Hidden Beach A&R man Jerrold Thompson connected with ColliPark’s Karl Marcellus Washington, Esq. who brought in the project’s Executive Producer Abdul Ra’oof and from this triumvirate Unwrapped™ 5.0 was born”, disclosed Hidden Beach president Steve McKeever. UNWRAPPED™ VOL. 5.0: THE COLLIPARK CAFÉ SESSIONS is the fifth in the  series of hip-hop/jazz hybrid compilations and is due to be released on June 24, 2008. What sets this one apart from the rest is its unique Southern hip-hop theme.  Once considered a sub-genre, southern rap music has not only solidified its place in the hip-hop world but has bullied its way into pop culture as well.  Testaments to this success have not only been heard on the radio, but singles from Southern rappers have begun to dominate the ring tone and download single sales charts as well. “Crank That (Soulja Boy Tellem)” last year’s number one selling ringtone, receives the Unwrapped™ treatment in this 5.0 edition.

Working in concert with ColliPark Studios; best known for producing smash hits by Soulja Boy, Ludacris, Young Jeezy and many more, Hidden Beach scoured a litany of interpretive tracks then refined and seasoned them to produce one of the most exciting Unwrapped™ projects yet. “The ColliPark Café Sessions provided a unique opportunity to revisit and mold a new body of work from Team ColliPark contribution to the Southern hip-hop movement. The result is an intoxicating blend of hip-hop’s pitch and timbre fused with jazz improvisation,” declares Mr. ColliPark.

UNWRAPPED 5.0 will continue in the line of sterling quality established by the brand. It is an exciting and inventive contemporary jazz collection of southern hip-hop’s club-ready singles that have been etch into pop culture. Entertainers 4 Education Alliance honors NYC Principals

The end of the 2007-2008 school year is right around the corner and no one has worked harder to make sure all New York City students have the tools and resources to succeed than school principals. To honor their achievements and dedication, the Entertainers 4 Education Alliance, Educate Online, Inc., (formerly Catapult Online) and the Council of School Supervisors and Administrators will host the 2008 Principals Soiree on May 29, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., at Suzie Wong Sake Lounge, 547 W. 27th Street, New York City. Special invited guests include John Starks, (NY Knicks Legend); Dennis Walcott, (NYC Deputy Mayor for Education & Community Development); and Randi Weingarten, (President, United Federation of Teachers). 
 
The Principals Soiree honors the city’s principals for creative ways they help their students overcome the challenges they face every day to achieve at their highest potential.  “This event is an opportunity for the principals to have a good time. They work hard every day to ensure that our schools are a better place for our children to learn and grow, and this is an evening just for them,” said Tonya Lewis, Co-founder of Entertainers 4 Education Alliance.  Earnest Logan President of the CSA stated  ”Being a school leader is no easy task and to be acknowledged by your peers and colleagues is truly an honor.  However, we are not educators for recognition; we are educators because we truly want to make a difference.
