Yellow Rebel: Now my first question, I know P’s been blowing up the blog-o-sphere with his blogs, do y’all ever find yourselves disagreeing with anything he says?
Havoc: Yeah I mean all the time, know what I’m saying? But you know that don’t f—k with me and his friendship. I disagree with him a lot. (Laughs). And a lot of things he say and do I don’t agree with sometimes, but that’s still my family. Know what I mean? And that’s just the bottom line.
Alchemist: I mean we all grown men, of course. We got opinions and we disagree. That’s why we all sit around tables and have conversations. You know to be a grown man, you can’t, you know for everybody to follow everybody’s opinion , you can’t even have a conversation. If everybody’s like “Yeah I agree”, you ain’t going nowhere.
YELLOW REBEL: Like a bunch of ‘Yes-men’
Alchemist: Nah, I respect that he ain’t afraid to put his opinion out. A lot times he’s right.
YELLOW REBEL: Like on his last blog, did you ever call him out on anything that he said?
HAVOC: Man, I’m done with all that.
Alchemist: Nah, unless there’s a reason too. I respect him. P’s been putting his opinion’s out through his music since day one. He was always very opinionated. The blog just gave him the opportunity to do it without a beat. He still getting his sh-t off, just opinionating.
YELLOW REBEL: So what are y’all favorite tracks on HNIC 2? Personally.
HAVOC: I like all of them. I listen to the whole album, I can’t even pick a favorite one. I like all of them.
Alchemist: I like the first joint. I like all of Sid Roams joints, to be honest. I think they came through on the album. Hav’s sh-t. Everybody elses sh-t, you know? Leave my stuff alone, I’m used to it. I like the rest of the album.
YELLOW REBEL: From what I understand, P’s in a cell right now because he wouldn’t snitch on 50. How important is that type of loyalty? Al, you been down for a minute, Hav, you’re half the beginning. I mean how do you guys feel about that?
HAVOC: I mean it’s all on the person. It’s hard to… It’s good when you got loyalty.
Alchemist: Loyalty is important, it’s a genuine quality. Definitely a cool quality to have in life. In addition to a lot of other quality. Sometimes does another quality overrule that quality? Well, lemme step aside and wait til that situation arises.
YELLOW REBEL: There’s a “Free Prodigy” Tour coming up. How did that come about? Any input?
Alchemist: It’s not a free tour, for the fans..
YELLOW REBEL: (Laughs) I got you, I got you…
Alchemist: (Laughs) I’m just kidding. How did it come about?
YELLOW REBEL: Yeah like who’s idea was it?
Alchemist: The only thing with that thing is that we’ll be on the road rockin’. I think it was more of the label. The people wanted to make sure that the album was promoted properly. I mean we’ve toured before without P. You know? It’s not something we love to do, but the fans come out and support. Hav’s energy rocks. Same with Big Noyd. It’s a beautiful thing. Bring everybody.
YELLOW REBEL: Are there any plans for after P comes out, to go on tour again?
HAVOC: Yeah, maybe. That’s a better scenario. When he’s out.
YELLOW REBEL: Now as far as the next G-Unit album, y’all got any input on it?
HAVOC: Yeah they working on that right now. We should have some tracks on there too.
Alchemist: Yeah, I mean its an affiliated team, so you know we’ll definitely come through and play some beats. Will it make the album or not? We’ll see. But you know—me and Hav, we come with it every day. That’s just one phone call away. I know they’re working this week, so we’ll probably come through and lay some beats for them.
