Griffin is best known for his starring role as the soulful secret agent in the hit film Undercover Brother and for his co-starring roles, alongside funnyman Rob Schneider, in the Deuce Bigalow film franchise. Griffin has also starred in several films including The Meteor Man, Armageddon, Double Take, Scary Movie 3 and most recently, 2007’s hit comedy, Norbit starring veteran comic Eddie Murphy. Griffin has also enjoyed success on the small screen with the hit UPN television series Malcolm & Eddie, in which he played Eddie Sherman, a fast-talking enthusiastic tow truck owner whose charming schemes always seemed to get the two into hot water. In addition to his acting credits, he has also performed on two tracks from popular West Coast producer, Dr. Dre’s 1999 album, 2001. Griffin is a talented stand-up comic, displaying a flamboyant, cinematic style. Griffin was recently bestowed the honor of being ranked on Comedy Central’s list of the 100 Greatest Stand-ups of All Time.
