Award-winning actress and award-winning producer, Chyna Layne, was raised in East New York, Brooklyn and is commonly referred to as a young Diahann Carroll. A professional actor since adolescence, she has done over 30 independent films and six commercials.
Chyna Layne lights up the big screen in the much anticipated movie, PUSH, based on the bestselling novel by Sapphire and directed by the critically acclaimed Lee Daniels. Chyna gives another hilarious performance in the Dunkin Donuts commercial with Jermaine Dupri, directed by Zach Braff. She gained nationwide recognition when she competed against thousands in TNT’s Dramatic Auditions Competition earning one of the highly coveted top 20 spots.
