50 Cent Enlists Production From The Aphilliates Own DJ Don Cannon

Super Producer/Aphilliates Co-Founder/DJ Don Cannon collaborates with Detroit Red to make the streets and the music industry “Go Crazy” with new single placement entitled, “Man Down”, on the ever controversial, highly anticipated release, Curtis, from the multi-platinum G-Unit/Shady/Interscope General-50 Cent.
“Working with 50 was not only a pleasure, but an honor. Both Detroit Red and I look forward to continuing to building with 50 and the G-Unit Family in the future,” says Cannon.
With a focus on longevity, the DJ has constructed a full-service production company, Cannon Music, and has produced tracks for some of Hip Hop’s notable acts such as: Young Jeezy, Busta Rhymes, T.I., Fabolous, Freeway, Lil Wayne, Cassidy, and Jay-Z. Cannon is currently being sought after from well known acts and developing his own artists, including the first signed Aphilliates Music Group/Asylum Records Recording Artist: Willie the Kid.
Despite the efforts of those trying to destroy the mixtape movement, Don Cannon has continued to keep the streets talking by hosting mixtapes for Freeway, Lil Scrappy, Juelz Santana,Tony Yayo D-Block, Ludacris and The Disturbing The Peace Family, Super Producer-Pharrell Williams, and Gnarls Barkley. Cannon’s top mixtape, The King Series, catapulted his career and has led to national recognition. He was voted Seagram’s DJ of the Year in 2003, worked parties for artists: Shaquille O’Neal, R. Kelly, Kanye West, P. Diddy, T.I., Young Jeezy, and Yung Joc, as well as, special events such as the
2003 Super Bowl, Essence Magazine’s Yard Parties College Tour, VIBE Yardfest, and 2006 BET Hip Hop Awards. In addition, Don Cannon has been featured in a number of media outlets that include: MTV’s Spring Bling, MTV Mixtape Mondays, BET Rap City,VIBE, SOURCE, OZONE, REMIX Magazine, The Foundation, Hip Hop Weekly, SCRATCH, SOURCE, XXL, Allhiphop.com, SOHH.com among many others. He is the official tour DJ for BME recording artist Lil Scrappy, and can be seen rocking clubs and venues on a number of up and coming tour dates.

founders: DJ Drama and DJ Sense! can be heard on Gangsta Grillz Radio airing Monday-Thursday from 10 p.m.-12 a.m. and Saturdays from 8 p.m.-12 a.m. on Radio One’s Hot 107.9. In addition, they can continue to be heard on Sirius Satellite Radio segment entitled Streetz Iz Watchin on Fridays from 8 p.m.-10 p.m. and Saturday 8 p.m.-10 p.m., which launched in September 2004 on Eminem’s Shade 45 station.
